Security

Security Company Structure

Zabalaza General Business Enterprise has:

  • Client Liaison Managers
  • Operations Managers
  • Area managers
  • Shift Supervisors
  • Controllers
  • Training Instructors

Area Managers

  • Visit all sites on a daily and nightly basis to ensure that the client specifications and requirements are being followed.
  • Deal with any security officer queries.
  • Respond to all incidents and assist the SAPS in any way possible i.e. assisting with security officers’ statements and eye witness statements.

Client Liaison Managers

  • Meet clients on a weekly basis to ensure that they are satisfied with the level of service being provided by Zabalaza General Business Enterprise.

Shift Supervisors

  • Ensure that the security officers are conducting their duties in accordance with site-specific instructions and to Zabalaza rules and regulations.

Operations Managers

  • Ensure that the area managers and shift supervisors are working in accordance with company policy and procedures, and specific client requirements.
  • Provide monthly site-specific, on-site basic and advanced emergency and evacuation training.
  • Respond to all incidents and conduct a full investigation whereby the client will receive a full report within 24 hours of the incident date.
  • Conduct full risk assessments per site and develop a site-specific operational plan particular to the client’s requirements, following the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 and Zabalaza’s company policies and procedures.

Controllers

  • Zabalaza has a fully equipped 24-hour control room.
  • The control room maintains communication with all sites and the controllers record all communication from sites and pass all information to management.
  • All sites are contacted on an hourly basis to ensure that all is in order.
  • Our controllers also facilitate the deployment of shifts and make sure that the sites are fully covered at all times.
  • They are also fully acquainted with all emergency procedures if an incident occurs.
  • The control room facilitates all information when an incident occurs and relays all information to the relevant authorities i.e. SAPS, fire brigade, armed reaction and medical services.

Training Instructors

Zabalaza General Business Enterprise has qualified and PSIRA accredited training instructors that provide training in our training academy.
